First Baby Chicks!

It's funny cause the Australorp is the least scared of me and the Orpington is a big cry baby whenever I pick it up.

I've only had one Australorp and that was years ago. She wasn't real friendly but she loved to eat. I'm sure the orphington will change when she gets older.

When do the chicks warm up to you and stop being scared and running away? When can I bribe them with treats such as meal worms or fresh veggies?

The dominate chook, the Sussex, doesn't liked to bed touched; she squawks as if we've offend her and her ancestors. The other two, the Aus and Orp, complain but suffer through the holding. Will they become more lap friendly when they get older?
