Bald spot on chicks neck and a little lump

I noticed a baldish spot on my black chicks neck when we brought him home. It has gotten a little worse and under it is kind of a lump. Any idea what this could be? I took the picture myself but when my husband comes home I can get a better picture.

Never fear. It's just the crop. When they eat food the skin stretches more thinly over the crop and it shows through the fluff. I freaked out when I first got my chicks and noticed this, but it's perfectly normal. :)
