Instead of buying syringes to give Tylan-50 injectable, could I just use an insulin syringe? I am diabetic and have them already on hand...

Sorry for the late response, but Tylan usually takes a 20 gauge or larger needle to withdraw from the vial.  If you are planning to give Tylan 50 orally, you can take the top off the vial (with pliers,) and withdraw the medicine with just your syringe without the needle and give it orally. If you are giving it as an injection, you will need the 3http://www.backyardchickens.com/t/639749/timeline-of-internal-laying-update20 gauge needles and syringes. They are pretty inexpensive.

It was tough, but I got it out. I just had to be patient and draw the syringe back slowly.
