Bumblefoot(?), splayed legs, & sick. ☹

Yesterday I was at Tractor Supply and saw a chick being plucked and eaten by the other chicks. It's tail was missing and was bloody so they took it into 'the back.' Not knowing what that entailed for the innocent chick, I asked if I could take it home with me and take care of it. They then informed me that there was another chick in the back of I wanted to take that one too. I said yes. This second chick is pretty ill.

It's acting lethargic and can hardly keep its eyes open. It's curling wing feathers and small size make me think it's a frizzy bantam. The larger concern is its legs. One foot has (I'm guessing) bumble foot, and the other leg is splayed.

I'd like to begin taping by the legs to see if I can correct the splaying. However, I'm hesitant to do so with the other foot being so swollen, I don't want to injure it further.

I'm adding some photos and my questions are: Do you think its bumble foot? And can I begin taping its legs anyways?

Any other advice is welcome as well. Thanks!
