I recently learned that there were "black chickens" and no I'm not talking about black feathered chickens, I'm talking about black skin, black meat, even black bones (so I'm told anyways). Googles says there's actually a few breeds with this "condition".

So now i'm looking for the two breeds, the "Kadaknath" and the "Ayam Cemani" which google says this condition is most prevalent in.

Anyone here in Indy have either of these breeds? Would be cool to learn more about these birds.

Thanks,

Major

Not sure if this would apply, but Greenfire Farms (http://greenfirefarms.com/chicken/ayam-cemani/) sells and ships day old Ayam Cemani chicks. Also there are a bunch of people here on BYC who I've seen post ads selling AC hatching eggs.
