I have an americana that her eggs always look like this. Seems like it would be painful laying an egg with these bumps

From what I've seen on this site (and somebody correct me if I'm wrong) Those are calcium deposits. You can help by providing calcium into your birds diet by way of oyster shells or what I do. Crush up all your shells from the eggs that you eat and mix it back into your birds food. Note: I crush it into almost a fine powder so I don't get egg eaters.

I've not experienced this issue, but found this link that you may find useful

The search engine here on BYC is a pretty good starting point for many issues, so I'd suggest reading around the subject whilst others post responses to you.

All the best

Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! :)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Hello!

Welcome to BYC and the coop! There's a lot of great peeps here! Feel free to ask lots of questions. But most of all, make yourself at home. I'm so glad you decided to join the BYC family. I look forward to seeing you around BYC. Good luck with your girl.
Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-

Welcome to Backyard chickens.  I wouldn't take it personally- maybe she just has to work some glitches out of her system.
