My name is Marlena and I raise chickens, all from babies and they're a part of the family.

I have over 30 and had them for about 2 years now and keep adding to my flock and making things bigger & learning more about chickens. I raise Copper Marans (my favorite), Production Reds, Polish Reds, and Americaunas. I also hatch a few pretty eggs but haven't had a lot of luck. I would like to know more about getting my chickens pt tested and don't know how to do that because I would like to show them. Plus interested in tips on hatching with my incubator.
I'm all for any great ideas and just installed a deer feeder made to feed chickens and made a 55 gallon barrel into a watering system.
I'm big on giving my chickens scraps and making sure they're handled & loved on.

This was my first chicken, his name is Alpha and he's awesome...

Hi Marlena and welcome to BYC. Alas, i have no experience whatever with incubators, but I can say a big hello! There are many threads on incubators and related issues, so maybe you could search through them. Ditto with your state thread - you will likely find members who are close to you.

All the best

Hi :welcome Marlena

Glad you could join us here! It sounds like you have a great mixed flock there with some lovely breeds. You might like to pop by the incubating section for help with your incubator, here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-amp-hatching-eggs
What brand do have?

Wishing you the very best of luck for the future. Be sure to ask any questions, everyone here to help and very friendly.

Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow
