Greetings from Northwest Arkansas

Thread Starter

Hello, y'all.  I live in rural northwest Arkansas.  Fairly new to chickens (this will be my 2nd year with them.)  I've got a good dozen Buff Orpington hens and a rooster.  I'll probably be getting more Orpingtons this year, perhaps with some Barred Rocks and a handful of guinea keets.  Looking forward to some advice from those who have been there and done that before me.

Hi and welcome to BYC - great to have you onboard. It seems that chicken maths has caught up with you - great stuff! :) I hope that as well as learning the odd bits here and there, you will also have a little time to share your experience with other members.

All the best

Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
