Hey guys, I have a 6 chickens in an outdoor run in southern California, they are about 4 months old. One of my chickens, a Jersey Giant, has some kind of growth hanging from her neck leaking some kind of fluid over her chest. She seems normally active and eats with the other pullets.
I have taken pictures to provide more information.
I've been feeding them Ace-Hi 22% Chick Starter Mash, and I started treating their water with Poultry Provita a few weeks ago. I've also just recently started letting them out of their run for a few hours every day, started that just last week. Recent weather has been very clear, sunny, with some winds. She hasn't been acting strangely or reacting to her growth at all, but I would like to know what it is and if it's dangerous for her or the other pullets. Should I isolate her from the other chickens as it is excreting some kind of fluid and it might get in their food.
