Remember - the Ameracauna is an American breed that was created FROM EASTER EGGERS.

Most Faverolles will at least have muffs, five toes and white skin though. They may be a bit smutty in color, but they will still be Salmon. They're not show quality, but you can look at it and still tell what breed they are. Hatchery Easter Eggers usually have yellow skin instead of the breed standard white, and clean faced birds are becoming more common, they have all sorts of color genetics. Basically, Ameraucana have been refined to the point that they no longer even resemble the base stock that the hatcheries are still using.
