Yes.  Post some close-up pics of the bird and especially of the face.  I assume since you don't feed it proper feed that you also do not de-worm them?

we dont deworm them.we had peas for many years and we never dewormed them.now that i think about it we had a few peas die same way in the past.i guess it's time to deworm them.well i took some pics of the young pea.first thing we did yesterday was mix termycin in bit of water and fed it through the mouth with an injector.then we put the pea inside a chicken coop and left it water plus food.yesterday my dad let it out of the chicken coop because he said it wasnt eating and felt uncomfortable in there.at the end of the day the pea did go back with the rest of the peas to sleep in the tree.at the moment it's just standing atop of the corn feed with some chickens and peas.it just stands around.do i inject more teramycin through the mouth every day till it gets better? thanks for the reply :)

My guess is worms.  I recommend getting some Safeguard for goats at the local farm supply house and stage giving it two ml down the throat every day for five days.  Then do it again in ten days.  Keep it locked up in the coop and keep an eye on how much it is eating and drinking.

It might be cocci, but I suspect worms first.

Peacocks and all gamebirds need a gamebird feed.Corn has absolutely no nutritional value to it.Peacocks, pheasants, and turkeys can get blackhead which is deadly to them.Gamebird feed has a low dose of meds in to keep blackhead away. And of course they are near chickens which is very bad.Chickens carry diseases that they can handle, but will kill peafowl and pheasants over time. They should also be wormed 2 times per year as all poultry should be.Like stated earlier treat them and 10 days later repeat treatment to kill the cycle.

You all remember the last sick pea post? Was it last week? Anyway, that one died that night and I convinced the owner to do a necropsy. Guess what she found?

@calidude209, welcome to BYC! Catch your pea, place it in a crate in a warm room. Use towels or newspaper on the bottom so you can see what it's poop looks like. Get a kitchen scale and with it in grams. At six months a female should weigh about 2500 grams and a male should with about 2800 grams. Let us know how much it weighs and what the poop looks like.

Yellow is bad... Can you take it to a vet? What you probably need is metronidazole for blackhead and Baytril for E. coli. Once they look as sick as your bird, they are usually dead in three days if not treated right away.
