Need help. Getting worry. chicks are hatching but the humidity went up to 92 and its not coming down, Is this normal? Should I bring humidity down, if so, how should I do it with out opening the incubator.

Hi welcome-byc.gif

As the chicks are wet when they hatch this inturn causes the humidity to shoot up. I've hit 90% when many have hatched at once. As your chicks dry out and fluff up the humidity should decrease. Do you have all your vents open so there is plenty of air getting in the incubator? How long has it been in the 90 + range? If you really feel it's not coming down at all you could just pop the lid open a little to let some out but if chicks are still wet it will more than likely return to high percentage.

Good luck with your hatch fl.gif
