Those are absolutely beautiful.

Jesus Christ is my pilot.

My husband of 41 years is my best friend and co-pilot.

Enjoying my gardens.  My flock are my garden helpers.

Breeding a winter hearty flock with small combs and colored eggs.

Favorite breeds:  Dominique and EE.  Hatching addict.

All you need is an olive egger and you'll be set! Great looking eggs.

If you got a Black Copper Marans you'd have dark chocolate eggs to really make that egg box pop with contrasting colors!

And then you could make your own Olive Eggers to round out your collection of pretties. You need some white egg layers too big_smile.png

I had a BEAUTIFUL blue copper maran, but she unfortunately suffered from egg yolk peritonitis. I want another. I have my limit of 5 hens now and I have an unkind neighbor that will report me the moment I add a 6th. Some day. 😁
