I'm new here, but I always come here for advice.

I have brand new ducklings. They started hatching on valentine's day. Today I noticed that momma duck keeps biting one of them when he gets close to her. I was wondering if anyone knew why and any ideas on what I should do?

I'm glad you decided to join us!! I hope someone on here can help you with your little duckling.
 
Please keep an eye on momma, some kill their babies for reasons only known to them. Do you have a brooder you could raise him in, maybe with another duckling so he isn't lonely.

What breed of ducks do you have? It would be fun to see a picture of your ducklings if you'd like to share.
