Go ahead and break the bad news...

Well, 2 of the 3 now have red combs... still waiting for the 3rd one to go red.

This experience has been such a disappointment. My first ever hatch. 100% hatch rate. I bonded and kept such very close tabs on these babies from day one. Weekly photos, and keeping all 13 of their names straight from the moment they were born (not easy when most of them are just black!) and so far I have 7 red already red four-week olds. This one up ahead which is colored and on the way to be a boy. At least 1 more that has pretty developed waddles but hopefully stays NOT red. One who is lame and will probably be culled, her leg is twisted and swelling and looks painful as hell. And the last 3.. maybe girls, but they're still young and it could change. :(
