Hi and welcome to BYC. I would suggest that you post your question on the "emergencies, disease, injuries and cures" section - I'm sure someone will be able to offer some advice.

All the best

You off to a good start if you found Backyard Chickens! Once you get your question posted in the right place, there's lots of knowledgeable people on here willing to help. :)

Got married, moved, and now starting over in the boonies of South/Central Arkansas with only three guinea pigs and no chickens. Parents still have the farm in Texas (Gibson Acres Farm).

Is any discharge oozing from the eye itself?    Any swelling of lids? When you post on the e/r  thread please include the answers to this as well as any other details you can come up with.

Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! :)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

There's a lot of great peeps here! Feel free to ask lots of questions. But most of all, make yourself at home. I'm so glad you decided to join the BYC family. I look forward to seeing you around the run. Good luck with your girl! fl.gif
Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-
