Help- what do I do?

Got a bird in another pen walking drunk. She can stand up straight and sit up straight, just can't walk right She also keeps opening and closing her mouth. I put in her own cage but where she was next to her flock members. She keeps reaching her head back maybe to preen but seems like she can't.

Is she sick or is that bonked behavior? What can I do? I just collected and sold eggs from this pen- Are they okay to eat?

99% likely she smacked her head.

WHEW ok. These guys have always been so chill but just started jumping and flying out in the past week. I gave them tree branches to hide in but they're still skittish. Glad to hear it's probably a bonking. Maybe she'll come around

She's still doing it! She's alert, eating and drinking (I guess- still fat) but has a drunk walk. Luckily for her an extra make was getting picked on so I have her a buddy. Can bonking affect them this long out?

Boinking can cause serious damage to the nerves and that kind of thing kan take ages to heal if it ever does. She could have damaged a specific part of her brain, have a concussion or similar. The damage could be tiny and heal in a few days with good care or it could be so big she only just managed to survive the original boink and she might always move a little differently. I have no experience with boinks, but one person with a concussion might never notice and another might be disabled for the rest of their life, so I'm guessing something similar goes for quail.
