We picked up our first chickens today, 3 USA brown chicks that are 7-8 days old. I'm wondering if anyone can please give me an idea of what gender they might be? Hopefully the photo works!

Welcome to BYC. If they are ISA browns, and I am doubtful of that, they are cockerels. Pullets would be far more red in coloration. To me they almost look as if they might be Cornish X meat birds. Seasonal suppliers are notoriously great at misidentifying chicks. Hope that I am wrong on all counts.

I agree or maybe White Leghorns. You will be able to tell soon by body type.
