The blog is called The Deliberate Agrarian and the section to see is called Raising and Processing Poultry. He raises turkeys as well as chickens.

I do the same add them to my free range flock. Let them grow out then put them in the freezer. They get to live a good life on 8 acres till there culled. And sometimes I keep one if it has a special personality I just can't help it.
