I don't think so. She doesn't have any copper on her. She looks more like the picture included. We got her from a lady who had ordered around 50 copper maran pullets, so she was certain ours was a maran, but she looks more like an australorp.Could your Maran be a black sexlink?
Thank you! I was worried I got ripped off. It took me about a month.My barred rock lays huge eggs like the lighter brown ones in your photo. I agree the tiny egg is from the bantam. How long did it take you to collect those eggs? Do you get 4 eggs per day and know they are all laying.
Just a side note, Marans that come from a hatchery don't necessarily lay dark eggs and they also might not have feathered legs. Your hen is very cute though. Her comb looks a bit small to be full Marans.
