Hey have my chicks from the hatchery. ..and lots of different marker colors on the head. ...anyone know the color code...there from McMurray. ..thanks. ..

I don't know but I've seen this question with pictures fairly recently on this site so if you do a forum search I'm pretty sure you can find the answer your looking for. I don't remember what was said about the head painting but if you search you can find the similar thread. all I can figure because I've seen this before is it must be part of a system that particular hatchery uses. you might want to go to the hatchery Web site and in there search look it up. That way you can find out EXACTLY what it means according to the hatchery. it does look strange (I've seen pictures) and I can't even guess why or what system they have in place to do this but surely the hatchery should be able to tell you. When you do find out, please post it here so in the future we can help others with the same question. Take a look online at the hatchery and see what you can find out. I would assume they would have a answer because everyone who gets the painted chicks will surely have questions. sorry I couldnt be more help.
