Hi everybody! I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Linda. I've been married for 11 years to my wonderful husband Don. I have been blessed with a 16 year old son and a 22 year old daughter. I am also a mother to an assortment of Japanese Bantams,1 Partridge Silkie,2 Swedish ducks,2 rabbits, and 2 guinea pigs. Since this site is for chickens, I'll focus on just them. We have been raising chickens for 10 years now and they have had a tremendous impact on our lives! We raise them for strictly companionship and to give them a happy, loving home. We call them our babies because they are so much more to us than just chickens. In fact, because of them we all became vegetarians!I have done a lot of internet research due to our babies getting ill or just simply wanting to learn more about them.In doing so, I always end up here at BackYard Chickens! You guys have been helpful throughout the years and I thank you!

Thank you! I plan on checking everything out. I actually posted on Emergency, Injury, Disease Thread because I have a Japanese Bantam hen whom is very sick. I would be thankful for help and suggestions from anyone for my little girl! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I am just wondering if I am doing this right. I posted an introduction of myself which I am getting many nice replies. I also posted my situation about my sick hen under Emergencies,injured, and cures thread but have not received any replies. I realize it may take a while but I just wanted to make sure I did it correctly.I am very concerned about her and I want to be sure everyone can read my post so I can receive some suggestions! Hi and welcome to BYC - I'm sure you'll get some replies throughout the course of the day on the injuries thread - Sundays seem to be a busy day for people so they may not have access to their computers etc.
