We wanted an open bottom for the chickens to have free range in the fenced area.
I expect to be able to house a dozen Brahmas in here.


The nest boxes will be along the top roost where we can open the doors and gain access to the eggs without even going in the fence or coop.

Needs paining but we are happy with our progress this weekend.

This is near the house and hopefully somewhat protected from predators. I did buy a predator guard electronic eyes that will hopefully ward off brave raccoons which we have in the area. Goats share this space so the plan is for them to help guard too.
