Scooter2015
Hatching
Hello Everyone,
I am moving from a house to an apartment, and cannot take my chickens with me - so I am looking to provide them with a temporary or permanent new home. We will be moving into a house in October 2016, however, until then we cannot keep them since we are in an apartment.
- 2 Silkie Adult Hens. My husband and I raised these birds from when they were chicks. They are incredible docile and friendly (great with kids) and are very quiet. They both give about an egg or two a week.
- Chicken Coop built by hand. Includes the following features: 2 Skylights on roof (front and back), two side windows with chicken wire mesh, and sliding doors that close. Roosting bar in the middle with 2 hooks for food/water feeder. Sliding floor that comes out easily to clean the coop. The coop has been painted to be completely waterproof and even has awnings for the windows. It features a lock with a key to keep the chickens safe. You can fit around 5 chickens in the coop.
- A water and Food feeder is included (pictured), as well a smaller water/food feeder for chicks.
- There will be two 50 lb bags of bedding, and a 50 lb bag of chicken feed included ( i just opened the one bag of bedding and the feed bag - but this will last for at least 3 months)
I just need someone to help me provide these chicks with a new home!
Please let me know of any questions or concerns. Thank you.
I appreciate it very much.
