Hello there! So I posted a few days ago about a couple of chicks. It resulted in me treating all of the babies with corid for coccidiosis, including the other chicks who did not get sick. So the two who were sick are really doing well, eating, drinking, pooping normally, and at about 70% of the activity level of the other chicks. My question is- I would like to upgrade them all to a larger brooder setup in my basement, and I'm wondering when it's generally okay for recovering chicks to be reintroduced back in with the others? The others never picked on them when they were really sick, so I'm not worried about that, more worried about the others getting sick. Would it be safe after completing the corid treatment? I think I could stand having them in my art studio for another few days :P I do so love having them all within arms reach all day long, despite the dust!
So it's not so boring, here's a picture of the two sick ones, taken yesterday. The black one is Scout, an Araucana (who's a little behind in growth now from being sick, and is all head), and the grey one is unnamed for now (possibly Harper?), and is a Lavender Orpington.
