I was born and raised in Apple Valley, but I left for college a few years ago. My family still lives there, raising a handful of chickens, goats, and dogs. Once a RIR roo got his spur straight into my Dad's leg, and my family just let it go outside the fence. Eventually the bobcat got it.
Our chickens: Ivy (blue marans), Eneggma & Chickpea (cinnamon queen crosses), Scratch&Lacy&Marble (Delawares)
Most likely eggs in the incubator at any given time...we've hatched/are hatching mixed breed ducks and red-golden pheasants.
Plus three kids, a dog, two cats, parakeets, and geckos. A nice full house :)
