16 week old pullet very ill, lethargic, yellow diarrhea, losing weight.. Please help

It's possible it may not even be Cocci... Without a test, there's really no way to know. :/

Feel her abdomen for any hard lumps or feeling "full" like a water balloon.

Corid dose is...

2 teaspoons (NO LESS) per gallon of water for 20% powder
OR
1.5 teaspoons per gallon of water for the 9.6% liquid

Give for 5-7 days (make it new at least once a day) and make sure it's the only water accessible for the duration of treatment. :)

Hope that helps!

It's actually the other way around. For Corid liquid the dose is 2 teaspoonsful per gallon of water. The powder dosage is 1 1/2 tsp per gallon. It really is not that significant though, as long as they are drinking the liquid.
Oh sh...t! I have the wrong dose of corridor!! I have been putting 1 1/2 teaspoon in 1 gallon. If this is the case then that is why it is takeing her so long to get over this. She has shown some improvement, but just soo slowly. I have had sick chickens before yet they have bounced back quicker that this one. Or I should say they have shown more improvement from day to day when they were on the way to getting better!
Could this 1/2 teaspoon really be that significant?
Wow! Thank you, I will fix that now!!
Many people used to use a lesser concentration, and the medicine still worked. Mrs. Brooke is correct, it may not be cocci, and you are doing the best you can do to rule that out.

Thank you for all the help. After the dose increase she bounced back! She is doing so much better. I know after reading the last post that it was too large of a dose, however it seemed to help her get over the hump this time.

Thank you, so am I!! She is back to her normal self!! Doing great! I do wonder if the increase helped her bounce back?
Who knows, however I thank everyone for helping me!!!
It's always a great feeling to be able to help them! This past summer I had one I couldn't save, and it just makes you feel helpless! I like it better this way!!!
