Does anyone have a good picture of a peahen egg? Possibly with a size comparison?

I want to know what to look for this summer as it's the first time my peahens will be old enough to lay and they are mixed with chickens and ducks. My fear is that I might confuse the eggs and accidentally eat or use peahen eggs for baking

and I'm hoping to incubate and hatch babies

Peafowl eggs are easy to identify. They are 4 inches all around. Others have photos of their eggs next to a chicken egg. Here's my pictures of peafowl eggs.

Agree, they will be easy to identify. In most cases they are unusually big compared to the hens size, I feel bad for some of my hens. Gerald Barker

Oh wow .. those are a lot bigger than I thought they'd be.. very cool. I do have some ducks that lay pretty big eggs but they are a little more off-white.

Thank you guys!

Thank you Birdrain! Those are a little bigger than I was thinking so that's definitely helpful.

It looks like you're using a Little Giant incubator.. may I ask what your hatch rate is like? I believe I have the same Little Giant as you.. but I've got the automatic turner in there as well. I was thinking about investing in a Brinsea Advance for a better hatch rate but if the Little Giant works well maybe I'll just stick with what I have. I've had a decent chicken hatch rate with my LG...

Smallest pea egg I have seen was about 85 grams and the largest was close to 130 grams. I have some pea, turkey and duck eggs, so I'll take a picture of all of them together.

Pea eggs will not be waxy at all like most duck eggs. They will have the same texture as chicken eggs.
