Yesterday I moved 22 of my 8 week old chicken to a large coop house from a smaller above the ground hen house. This was the first time any of them had been on the ground and had so much space. They all seemed happy, dirt bathing and running around. There were some bullies but nothing major that I saw.

This morning I went out and one of them was laying on the ground not moving around. She couldn't stand. I have her in isolation now. I felt for broken bones but didn't feel anything. No scabs on her feet. She can move her legs and curl her toes. She ate and drank when I placed food/water in front of her.

I went back out a few minutes ago and her nose had blood spots. She had moved around some but was still laying with her legs to one side.

Could one of the bullies hurt her or could it be an illness? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Here are some pictures I took last night.

Here is a link to a video. She tried to get up and flipped over. It was the first time she has done that. I was sad.

Thanks for any help.

Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? It looks like she is suffering some neurological symptoms that can be similar with Mareks, but that doesn't mean that she couldn't have suffered a head injury. I would continue to keep her separated, close to food and water, and add poultry vitamins to her water. A little egg or tuna can help supply some selenium to her diet. I will send you some links to read about Mareks soon.

Update: my chick is standing now and walking around. She just ate but is still isolated. Excited she is better!
