Rattlesnake Eggs - Page 2

Elsa,

They were two different Ameraucana breeders from dif. parts of the country. One had no breaks but a few clears and the other one had 3 breaks and 4 clears. I expect a phone call on your hatch, good luck.

Okay, time to report back.  :)

We ended up with 8 chicks out of this hatch: 6 blues and 2 splashes.  I know our hatch rate would have been much higher if not for the rough handling from the USPS.  I am NOT a fan of the PO right now, we've recently had several boxes arrived quite smashed(one was food items and a few car parts in another).

Back to the chicks. :)  Here are a few pics, I'll update again when I can with better shots.

A possible black, or a blue?

A blue

This one is "Snowball" b/c what else could we possibly name it? lol

This one had some navel issues, but it's all better now.

A little hide n go peep, anyone?

Adorable fluffy buttkins! :jumpy  What's not to love?

I wouldn't hesitate again to order from Kurt.  Though I may have to make the drive next time.  ;)
