were the eggs washed? did the water get moldy in the bator?

The eggs were not washed. Some of them were a little poopy, so maybe it was from that. Either that or my husband didn't clean the incubator properly after last time (I can blame him, right?) Or maybe something came off of my hands when I was candling. All 8 have hatched now and 6 of the 8 have omphalitis. It is heartbreaking. They are super cute but defintely low energy. Going to get some sav-a-chick today & I really hope some of them make it.

I have a nice Stihl, but it doesn't have a 40' bar...
