"Springing in the Chicks" 2016 April Hatch-a-Long Hosted by Mike & Sally

one of my chicks has just swallowed a huge grub hole and it is the smallest booted bantam i have and i just thought it would never eat that it is called bird

I just performed an eggtopsy on my quitter guinea egg. Had feathers and had absorbed a lot of the yolk. fully developed feet. Its problem was a deformed head and beak, so I think it was alive for almost full time, but would never have been able to hatch. Thankfully I'm not posting a picture, but it really wasn't all that yucky.

Broody hen has 1 baby so far. I took a quick peek SO CUTE!
