Tylan

Hi everyone, I actually rang the company the makes Tylan and was told this.

In New Zealand their is no waiting period at all before you can eat the eggs.  They eat them all through the treating process.

I asked the man would he then do that, and he said to me that in all honesty it is up to me, but he personally would wait 7 days.

There is your answer to the question can you eat eggs whilst your chooks are still being treated with Tylan.

It appears that there is a difference whether you are using the injectable or water soluble Tylan.  Water soluble appears to clear the system within 24 hours of the last treatment whereas injectable may take as long as 21 days (at least in beef cattle).
