Runt chick won't stop chirping!!

The picture is the size difference between the chick that was born an hour before this one- they are from the same hen. You can tell how much the other has grown and she hasn't. But good news is I thought she would die. She was the one I mentioned above getting worse and shaking for hours. But I kept on giving her honey mixed with water and egg yolk. Plus electrolytes and acv mixture. She finally just stopped shaking. They do pick on her since she's so little but I hopeful atleast that she turned around. The other chick I originally posted about is now standing and doing good. Still small but not as small as this one. Hope I have good news in the morning will update

Glad to hear she's doing a bit better. Sugar seems to perk them up a bit, good to see that it's having a effect so soon. Did she come from a smaller egg? I've heard stories of chicks that hatched from "Pullet eggs" do really poorly at first, so much that some people have stopped hatching un uniformly sized eggs.

Still not able to stand, shaking, eyes closed and opening mouth over and over without chirping. I still have it in my shirt. I Gave it honey water again and it acts like it doesn't want to drink. Wonder if something is wrong with it's digestive system. I hate when they are born fine and then die a few days later. This one pipped under its air cell and there was a bunch of goo on him. He also had greenish liquid come out of his stomach area once he hatched. Don't know if any of this is related but maybe

Does he still have green liquid coming from his stomach? That may be an infection that's keeping him smaller than the others. Probiotics will help a lot. Please keep us updated!

No the liquid was just at hatch. These were my last 2 eggs to hatch. The red guy was shrink wrapped and malpositioned. It was fine for 3 days but I don't think was eating as to why no growth.Yesterday it started acting lethargic and falling over so I kept it in my shirt and hand fed for around 12 hours and it finally perked up. It's eating this morning! The youngest chick I had to hatch on day 23/24 is ok this morning but it doesn't sleep laying down. Rather stands up and kinda doses off with its beak down. I'll probably hand feed today too. I've only had shipped chicks die. Mine were all pullet eggs but I had 6 red chicks all the same size egg and just this one had a problem. Actually my biggest 2 eggs never internally pipped in lockdown and died. I've only ever hatched pullet and out of 19 that have hatched these are the only 2 I've ever had a problem with. But I did a bigger hatch this time. I will be so excited if this progress keeps up!

I'm so glad they're doing better! I have a tiny runt chick too that's almost 2 weeks old and hasn't gotten any bigger than when she was a day old. She also has an eye problem and can't open it. I've been giving her electrolytes, probiotics, ACV, straight nutri drench twice a day, and rinsing her eye with saline and rubbing a little coconut oil on it twice a day. She's eating, drinking, and pooping, but not growing. She sleeps standing up dosing with her beak down like yours. I've read about this on a couple of different threads, there was this one chick that was so tiny compared to the others but she eventually caught up in size.

This is the chick from that thread:

Here she is as an adult hatching her own clutch of eggs:

Oh wow he is small! So update the red guy is still tiny but running around and acting feisty finally like the rest. The one I posted about originally died this morning. He just kinda sat there and chirped yesterday. I don't think he would have hatched if I hadn't made him. It's just sad to let a chick die after its internally pipped. But maybe next time I wont help a chick unless it's externally pipped. Something was probably wrong with him from the beginning as to why he still hadnt hatched on day 23/4. Poor little guy. Well I tried and atleast the other one is doing ok

Sorry he/she didn't make it

, especially in a time where we have access to so many solutions right at our fingertips, but sometimes nature takes over all the nurture you can find in the world. Generally hatching pullet eggs is a big "no no", I would encourage you to avoid hatching them because it is very common for chicks from pullet eggs to hatch poorly or die after hatch. (I say this in the friendliest manner you could imagine) It seems as though the chicks don't have enough room in the eggs to gain a nice bit of mass before hatch.
