Runt chick won't stop chirping!! - Page 2
Still not able to stand, shaking, eyes closed and opening mouth over and over without chirping. I still have it in my shirt. I Gave it honey water again and it acts like it doesn't want to drink. Wonder if something is wrong with it's digestive system. I hate when they are born fine and then die a few days later. This one pipped under its air cell and there was a bunch of goo on him. He also had greenish liquid come out of his stomach area once he hatched. Don't know if any of this is related but maybe
Does he still have green liquid coming from his stomach? That may be an infection that's keeping him smaller than the others. Probiotics will help a lot. Please keep us updated!
This is the chick from that thread:
Here she is as an adult hatching her own clutch of eggs:

Sorry he/she didn't make it , especially in a time where we have access to so many solutions right at our fingertips, but sometimes nature takes over all the nurture you can find in the world. Generally hatching pullet eggs is a big "no no", I would encourage you to avoid hatching them because it is very common for chicks from pullet eggs to hatch poorly or die after hatch. (I say this in the friendliest manner you could imagine) It seems as though the chicks don't have enough room in the eggs to gain a nice bit of mass before hatch.
Oh wow he is small! So update the red guy is still tiny but running around and acting feisty finally like the rest. The one I posted about originally died this morning. He just kinda sat there and chirped yesterday. I don't think he would have hatched if I hadn't made him. It's just sad to let a chick die after its internally pipped. But maybe next time I wont help a chick unless it's externally pipped. Something was probably wrong with him from the beginning as to why he still hadnt hatched on day 23/4. Poor little guy. Well I tried and atleast the other one is doing ok
I'm sorry, at least you did your best.
