Thread Starter

I am new to chicken raising but yesterday had my first egg, which was pretty exciting. Refer to this site for advice regularly. Have 2 chickens living in a 6 unit villa block on units. The birds see a lot of people and seem really happy.

Hi Ray and welcome to BYC - great to have you onboard!

If you check out the Learning Centre, you'll find a whole host of resources on all things chicken.

Your state thread is worth joining as you will get to know other BYC members in your area (just type your state in the search box). In fact, the search box should become your best friend  Lastly but by no means least, the members here are amazing - very friendly and helpful, so if you need an answer to a question or simply want some reassurance that what you are doing is ok, then post away - we all help each other out here at BYC.

Congrats on your first egg!

All the best

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
