there is a good showing of them at Shawnee ok. show maybe contact npa director Charles Hanna he might be able to get you breeders names
 
Just got a pair. I am am in love. They are amazing! (And I have been wanting them forever!) They seem to me like the Brahmas of pigeons!

I think my colors would be called Lavender (hen) and Yellow (cock). They are very pastel colors. I'll be interested to see what colors they kick out! After breeding season I'm hoping to get another pair in darker colors from the person I got the first pair from.

Nobody has been here since March of 2016, but I have a question:

Currently, of the people who sell Lahores in the U.S., nobody seems to have Blue Bar or Blue Barless.

I was talking with one guy, and he said to maybe get Black and Lavender to get a Blue Pigeon. What is your take on this? I prefer Blue Bar, but since it's the Blue color I most like, I'm fine with barless.

I just want to raise Lahores as pets, not for show, so I don't care about not having the 'right' markings. I just like the blue color on these birds.

When it comes to pigeon genetics it is a subject that makes my eyes twitch. This is one sight I found in reference. Hope you have better luck with it than I did.

I have an older fancier I am friends with who has done some some amazing colourations by breeding. One I recall is a silver laced homer. I talk to him on this subject from time to time and I just seem to GLAZE over 2 minutes into a discussion. Problem is he will NEVER own a computer and does not even talk on the phone. Blue bar is a natural colouration for rock doves in the wild so the genes are there the trick is to get them to dominate. I wish I could be of more help.

Thank you! I'm checking that site out now. It just seems that in the US, blue (barred or barless) seem to be rare. Looking at Lahore breeders in Pakistan and India, it seems that all they have. LOL.
