Mystery hatch, guesses welcomed...

Congratulations on your hatch! They are adorable!
These are older(dead) threads but "maybe" they are Coronation Sussex? Just a guess!

Here is an updated pictures at 4 weeks old. I think they must be Buff Orpington and I think the one in the middle is a cockerel. I had 3 out of 11 who look to be cockerels.

Yes, I do think they are BO's, I see white feet.
The middle does look like to be a cockerel.
Are you going to keep him? My BO boy is sweet, I do like him very much. I also adore my 2 BO girls as well. I think you will be happy with them, they are sweet and friendly (for the most part) - one of my girls has been "playing broody" when she is in the nesting box laying her egg and screeches when you go in the coop. Once she off the nest, she is just doll, go figure...

Thank you. They certainly have stolen my heart. I can't keep the two cockerels as my county does not allow roosters. They have been much less friendly than the pullets, so it won't be to difficult to part with them. I have several of the pullets who are really tame and friendly, and I think we will be happy with them. Should have a hatch of Speckled Sussex next week to eventually join them. Your hen that "plays broody" sounds like a hoot.

P.S. In case you are wondering why I have gone from 3 to 2 in my comments about the cockerels, one of them died a week or two ago. I haven't lost my mind yet, and I can still do simple math. =)
