can a hen go in shock?

I have a Golden Laced Cochin that is acting like she us in some sort of shock after being in contact with a rather aggressive rooster. She will not walk, no weight bearing on her left side. As a result she uses her wings for stability to waddle. Now that I have her in quarantine I hear some sort of gurgling. I am new at this so any help is appreciated. I have been advised to put garlic water or aspirin water to aid in healing and pain.
 
I don't know if this is a similar situation but I had two hybrids and when one of them died the other went into a sort of shock to. I got some new hens for her but she didn't lay an egg again and seemed to be quite ill for a month or so. Hope ur hen gets better to!
