I've been reading other posts about chickens eating snakes with no issues. One of my girls ate a small snake (about 12-15" long and very thin) and she's been stretching her neck out and gaping (I guess that's the word) like something stuck in her throat every once in a while. None of the other posts mention that. I'm wondering if it's because it was such a big meal that it's taking a while to pass through to her stomach. She seems fine otherwise. Just making that weird face every once in a while. I saw her eat a lizard yesterday (much thicker, but shorter) and had no issues.
