Hey guys,

Only just new to the group and haven't raised a chicken for years now! Decided to get back into looking after one. Unfortunately its alone! Now I don't want to get another one till I move houses! What are some handy ways to get my chick to be in its cage without it crying. I've got a teddy in there, the heat is perfect, it has food and water and has a little blanket thing!
Please help me out :) :)
 
Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! My only other suggestion would be to add a mirror so your chick thinks it can see another of its own kind. Other than that you are going to have to get another chick or two to keep it happy. They thrive so much better when they are not on their own.
