I'll be in the barn!
I'm not a newbie to chickens, but to this breed... I want to be sure of the gender of my Golden Campine. My rare ones were out of a grab bag of sorts, so I'm nt sure how thsoe work, but there could be a possibility for a rooster, right?

So, I thought all my rare ones were hens, till they got older, then I realized that maybe I'm wrong about this one...
Another user with a Campine said that her hen's comb is large, but I wanted to get as much feedback as I could...

What are your opinions? Hen or rooster? I'm not sure... call me stupid if you like :p
Here are my most recent pictures. I was unable to get a clear shot of the tail feathers/ back recently (this one's a hyper little one..), so these will have to do.

He(?) Seems to get along with my rooster who is housed with and other hens...
I even saw the rooster try to mate with this one... Whether or not that means anything? Maybe he was just fighting with him? I don't know.... Guess i shoulda pickee a differentchick

For what its worth, I keep a bachelor pen with three boys in it. They're always mounting each other

So.... I have a fourth rooster on my hands.... At least he's too little to be rough with the girls and he's friendly other than the fact he's flighty. He is lucky i keep all my roosters though. :p
Once, i watched him scale the side of the run.... Him and my buttercup hen have both done this.... Climbing the side of the run (chicken wire) with beak and claws

Beautiful birds. I wish more people had them. They are a breed that needs help.
