I know it's extremely young.... but I have read you are able to sex cuckoo Marans at birth because males are much lighter colored, and the ladies have the spot on their head and are mostly black....
So... This little one is pretty dark, but the lightest of my 6 cuckoo Marans and is noticeably larger so I'm a little questionable.
This is my first time with this breed so I am very naive... I apologize if what I read about their coloring is incorrect.
Anyway of telling what this chickie is will be?
