So I recently discover the Chicken genetics calculator and after stumbling around this guys site when I stumbled onto this page

http://kippenjungle.nl/witvorwerk.htm

Can someone tell me what color is the F2 generation of his cross? Also, is this an established color in another breed, actually in America?

Thank you so much.

It is a gold, verging on red, columbian pattern. The addition of dominant white turning the normally black pigmented feathers white.

Not sure what breeds have a variety similarly colored.

You can achieve a pretty similar look with a splash phase blue columbian pattern.

Here are some Brahmas that I bred.

Your Brahma's are beautiful. What would you call their color?

The chickens on that site look like a Lakenvelder but with white instead of black and red instead of gold or silver like any other Lakenvelder I have seen.

And just to point out the difference your Brahma's white feathers on their neck stay on the back of the neck while the chickens in that picture appear to have white all the way around, though it is had to tell from the angles that the pictures are taken from.

Again you have some beautiful Brahmas. Thanks for replying.

The chickens you are talking about are Vorwerk- breed who has same color pattern like Lakenvelders. In Hank's situation, he replaced the black with dominant white and worked on more intense gold (red). USA Golden Lakenvelders are more pale.
