Please help, pasty butt gone bad! :(

My little Bantam (maybe Mille fluer d'uccle?) had pasty butt and i gently cleaned it with water and paper towel. She pooped fine after that although kind of a large dropping I thought for her size. Now she looks like she can't poop and her bottom is large and red. What do I do?! She peeps when trying to go :(
 
When I purchased her, before the worker at the feed store put her in the box, she noticed poop on her butt and just pulled it off. I didn't have a chance to tell her not to do that, I'd soak it. Could she have some internal damage from it? :( Please, can I fix it. I don't care about eggs, just want her ok.
 
Take a pair of small tweezers and GENTLY clear the poop from her vent. VERY GENTLY. I've seen this before, once, in one of my own chicks. She was eating the very fine bits of pine shavings in the brooder. Yours might just be backed up bits of dry poo mixed with new, but it needs to be taken care of quickly. You're probably going to have to check her every hour or two and clear her out again (or do it everytime you hear her chirping in distress). Provide a source of grit, just in case it is a case of her eating shavings too.

It looks like she might be a little constipated, probably from being "backed up" when the poop was pasted over her vent. Try soaking her bottom half in a tub of water...the water will go up into her vent and soften the poo so she can pass it. Rinse her off, then dry. Keep everything warm, but not enough to overheat her.
 
Thank you both! I did a little of both bless her heart! It just kept coming. Her vent is very red and irritated. Is there anything I could put in it to help heal it? Neosporin maybe?
 
You could apply some Neosporin, Vaseline, coconut oil (which has antifungal and antibacterial properties) or raw honey (also antibacterial) on it.
 
Neosporin wouldn't hurt. Maybe slightly isolate her from the others until the swelling goes down to prevent them from pecking at it.
