Sun flower seeds are kinda okay for chickens but not the best. When we out of food we give them sun flower seeds. In scratch grain there are some sunflower seeds in so I guess it will be okay... What do the other peeps think?
 
I mix one 35lb bag of wild bird seed and one 50 lb bag of cracked corn and my birds love it, they like the sun flower seeds more than anything but you talking maybe 5% of the feed after mixing
 
Oh and a 50lb bag of laying crumbles in there too, and I mix it all in a 55gal drum and store it there bc the squirrels love it too lol

I am the oldest of five kids and my mom has been able the chicks fine every pregnancy. She isn't really an animal person but with the Easter Eggers she couldn't resist...

Wow :eek:!!!thats a lot of music,even for me.......any way,what's your fave.band??!mine is evanaice,dose any body here like Amy lee?!she rocks!!i love her voice,it so pretty!!i could listen to it all the time!!i jog,and I have a MP3 and its got some of her songs on it!!

As for sun flower seeds,go ahead its fine,I've give in them to my chickens a lot,thay love them.and as for you being pregnant,be careful,wash your hands after holding the chicks.
