I posted another question about one of these girls with a black comb and legs. Someone said one looked like a roo. Now I am going crazy staring at combs. They all look like pullets to be. They are 3 week old SLW. Opinions?

Okay good! I wasn't seeing what he was seeing. No one has wattles or an extremely obvious large comb. Also they all have a pullet stance aith their heads down. No one does the rooster stance. I just hatched put 8 of my own and I know I will have a few rooster in there. Really didn't want any accidental roos in the ones I paid for.

Another thing works for me is using the secondary wing feathers.

I know these are older birds but it still works with young chicks.

Here's a Black Australorp pullet. Secondary wing feather stay together and there will be a gap between the secondary and primary feathers.

Here's a Black Australorp cockerel. Secondary feathers will spread out and there won't be a gap between the secondary and primary feathers.
