Decided I just had to make a new thread! Pretty much random were you can share stories and funny stuff about your poultry! Accessible to everyone! new members ,might learn a thing or to and experienced members can help and have a good old laugh! Keep us posted on your poultry life!

Its just had to rain didn't it! Poor broody mama was soaked to the brim when trying to keep her chicks warm( funnily enough the chicks were up to their knees in water ..it would of helped if mama hen went in the chook house!) I checked under mama and found one chick was missing and was shocked! the little guy could of been dead from the coldness ! Funnily enough I found him stranded in water unable to find his mommy he was so delighted to see me and kept warm under my t-shirt! boy was he shivering! it was so funny to see his little legs waddle over to me! Next time mamma hen should do a head count!
- That's his dad! boy has that rooster got intelligence! he definitely passed his sweet nature to his little chick! We named his son penguin (the one that was stranded in water!) Cause he acts and looks like a penguin
