Good Morning!  I just placed an order for a pair of Pilgrims with Metzers.  We already raise chickens and have a medium sized coop and fenced chicken run.  We have raised ducks in the past.

My question is can you tell me about your experience starting Goslings for the first time?  Tips and setup examples would be appreciated.

We are a family of four enjoying our back yard to the fullest with our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, chickens and ducks.  A pair of goslings coming soon!

Make sure you have a good sized brooder. I used an XL kiddy pool with a dog play pen wrapped around the sides (for extra height) for 8 goslings two different times, it worked wonders.
