I have a cornish cross meat rooster that is a little over 2 years old and his foot got swollen and looks like it might be filled with pus, I touched it and it's kind of squishy and is obviously infected. I'm not sure if it's bumble foot or what, he is in a coop and pen with my 4 fantail pigeons and they get along fine. I'm wondering if I should try to cut it and release all the fluid or whatever is in there and flush it out with peroxide or what I should do. Any help is appreciated!
Here's a picture of him from last summer
